I am the first one to admit that I did not have a good knitting experience when I first gave it a try many years ago. Well, the last few weeks some of my friends at work have been knitting up a storm and have peaked my curiosity! One in particular went to struggling right before Christmas to knitting on four DPNs in no time! Amazing!

It reminded me of my experience with spindle spinning. When I first attempted to spin on a spindle, I did not do well at all, regardless of how much time I put in. When I went to a wheel, it all just fell into place! After a while, I went back to my spindle and all I can say is WOW! I really think that my wheel experiences and successes made a huge difference with my spindle ability. Keeping that lesson in mind, I have decided to give knitting another try.

So, stay tuned as I take yarn to needles and see how I do. As usual, I have two projects that MUST be finished first, so I have the time to find a good book, pick up some needles and yarn and get started.
