We all have our vices in life. Some of mine are fiber arts (obviously), fly fishing and fly tying, and my most expensive habit...Starbucks. I will say however, this time, one vice is helping to enable another!

If you are a Starbucks regular, you will have noticed this year's holiday decorations included large balls of green yarn. I have been eying these since they went up around Thanksgiving. As the season draws to a close, I took the opportunity to talk to the manager this morning about what is going to happen to them and if by any chance I could have them. Well, lo and behold, she said no problem! She is going to take down the decorations later this week and will put all the yarn balls aside for me. Yay!

So, if you are a regular at your local Starbucks, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Don't bother asking at the Starbucks in the Target plaza in Rockaway, NJ, however. They have been spoken for!
