Prudence Mapstone, an amazing free form artist, has started a great new project to benefit breast cancer research. She is asking for knitters and crocheters to send her pink scrumbles that she will assemble into amazing art pieces that will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to breast cancer research.

I have known many who have been affected by breast cancer, including my mother-in-law, my Godmother and one of my best friends. I think this is a great way to combine my love of crochet with my support for such an important cause!

I hope you will all consider joining in and sending Prudence a scrumble or two. I know I will! I congratulate Prudence for coming up with such a wonderfully creative project and am both proud and honored to call her my friend.
